"And now for something completely different" - Monty Python's Flying Circus

Determined not to be enslaved by the  9-5 routine and working for the man, I have now embarked on the final leg of my journey to be self-employed. Having received both my business cards and flyer's, the next step was to create a web-site that reflected my goals in helping other achieve health and fitness..
Well after a week of brain-storming and changing my mind about a million times, I finally done it, and launched the web-site into cyber space... Out there for all to see. Scary thought really, but there you have it.

In the city today after a great back and neck massage I was reminded of the working life I was keen to leave behind. Men in suits and ties, looking bored, some quit happy, but over all a very drab and depressing look for me. Of course this is just how I feel as many are very happy to tie a noose around their necks and go flop at a desk. Not me, at least no more I hope. So this has to work, and it will.... Excited? Yes of course! Nervous? Shit yeah!!!!

The Trails Ahead
Misty Howth Head, Esther's Birthday
Anyway, both Esther and I managed to squeeze in two days of mountain biking this week. It was Esther's birthday on Friday so she had the day off and we made the best of it. Despite the rain and fog on Howth Head we braved the elements and went out geared up. It's always good to get out and spin the legs regardless of the weather. On Sunday we headed to Ballinastoe where 14k's of purpose build trails attack folk from all over the area. Great to see so many out in support of the great out doors and to be riding the trails. They were wet and mucky for the most part.

A mixture of fire road, rocky, rooty single track, and of course fast and flowing single track that always gets the heart racing...  So the Wicklow Mts do have some thing to offer.. Of course we knew this.
There are lots more areas that need exploring now, since the forestry commission here have decided to invest in the mountain biking scene. About time I say. So next time I will take the GoPro HD cam and get it running.

Lots of new ventures to be had, so we will make the best of the time we have here in Dublin and Ireland.
